I hope it was worth it

Not to be outdone by our 10 year old, husband finally got himself a buck this past weekend. The man has been gone to the hunting farm every weekend since September 22.
But finally, finally all of that beer drinking patience has paid off and he got “the buck”. “The buck” that is currently on its way to get head mounted to one day rest on a wall within my house to stare me down every time I walk into the room. Really, can a girl’s life get much better than that?

Congrats to hubby!! My hubby has been out every weekend for the past 5 weeks and NOTHING. He is discouraged the poor guy. Have fun with the beady eyes…lol

so, are you going to make venison jerky? i love the stuff but…i have to keep telling myself that it isn’t deer…
my husband has a student who hunts and he, inevitably, will bring jerky to my hubby who brings it home. i’m so glad that, he hasn’t brought home the actual deer, from his student. i’d have to run away!
